Use
Radiesse is used to improve facial contour and restore volume loss.
It is particularly suitable for areas such as cheek volumisation and contouring, jawline enhancement, as well as areas where intense collagen stimulation is needed: face, neck, arms, abdomen and stretch mark correction. Radiesse ensures natural, long-term tissue regeneration and harmonious improvement of facial architecture.
Procedure
The Radiesse procedure is quick and minimally invasive.
A consultation with an aesthetician is required before the procedure to define your exact goals and expected results. The injections are made with a special needle suitable for this method and the procedure itself usually takes about 30 minutes. It is effective, comfortable and gives an immediate improvement which gradually becomes more pronounced thanks to the stimulation of collagen.
Exposure
When Radiesse is injected into the skin, it provides a dual-phase effect.
Firstly, it provides an immediate smoothing and visual improvement in skin quality. Secondly, the CaHA microspheres stimulate collagen production, which helps maintain facial volume, skin elasticity and texture in the long term.
Unlike hyaluronic acid fillers, Radiesse does not attract water to the injection area – this means no unwanted swelling in sensitive or anatomically challenging areas. Radiesse is therefore particularly suitable for precise contouring and volume restoration.
How does the Radiesse® procedure work?

Day 1
Day of procedure
After injection, there may be mild redness, pressure sensation and slight tenderness around the injection areas. These changes usually resolve within 1-24 hours.
Some patients see an immediate increase in volume, but this is a physical, temporary effect from the gel base.
Important to know:
- Radiesse itself stimulates collagen - the result grows gradually, not immediately;
- The procedure does not require any recovery time, you can return to active mode the same day.

2.-3. DAILY
Early post-procedure phase
At this stage, there may be mild swelling, slight discomfort in the jawline, sides of the cheeks or other injection areas. Some patients may have minor bruising.
These changes are normal and pass within 2-3 days.
What to expect:
- mild bruising (not always),
- a slight feeling of "fullness",
- minimal pressure sensitivity.

7.-14. DAILY
Visible improvements
Collagen activation begins
The gel base gradually becomes less visible and the skin begins to "tighten" in the deeper layers. During this phase, active collagen synthesis begins.
Notiek:
- improvement in skin density,
- stronger tissue support,
- gentle improvements to the facial contour.
Patients often notice that the face looks "refreshed", but the changes are very natural.

4.-6. SUNDAY
Active remodelling phase
During this period, Radiesse® reaches its peak - the skin becomes denser, firmer and visually more youthful.
Collagen synthesis continues for several months, so the results are intensified gradually, not immediately.
In this phase you will see:
- a more pronounced oval facial line,
- improve the contour of the jaw,
- reduced wrinkles and creases (nasolabial folds, marionettes, etc.)
- more elastic and compact skin.

3.-6. MONTH
Stable and lasting results
The effect of Radiesse® lasts 12-18 months, even longer in some patients.
During this period:
- the collagen and elastin network becomes fully mature,
- the skin texture becomes noticeably denser,
- a clearer facial contour and lifting effect.
N.B. The result depends on the patient's age, skin quality and lifestyle.
Sometimes a repeat treatment after 12 months or a quicker "maintenance microdose" after 6 months is recommended for optimum effect.
