Before the visit
It is recommended to avoid alcohol and strenuous exercise 24 hours before the procedure.
It is recommended to avoid taking blood-thinning medications (such as aspirin, ibuprofen, etc.) 3–5 days before the procedure, unless otherwise directed by a doctor.
Tell your doctor if: you have neurological or neuromuscular disorders, are taking anticoagulants or other regular medications, or have had previous allergic reactions to injections or botulinum toxin products.
The procedure must not be performed on pregnant women or women who are breastfeeding.
